The Latest REA Media Award Winner!
And the award goes to.........Linda Mupemo!!!!!!
When I got employed in the civil service, I was super excited. However, my excitement was watered down the moment I discovered the place I was going to was not connected to the national power grid. I complained and questioned God's move. Like God, I need this job but do you really have to post me to a place where is no electricity? Where do I even start from?

Nearly two years later, the then lack of electricity in Milenge district has created an avenue for me to win the 2018 Rural Electrification Authority (REA) media award for the first ever Best Web-Based Publication. This is a tale I will live to tell; there is something beautiful on the other side of your dark season. I take zero credit for this. May God take all the glory.
Thank you to REA management and my employer, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting services for this opportunity. I am highly motivated to continue to highlight issues affecting rural communities.
To my family, friends, pastors from Miracles By Fire Church, my colleagues and supervisors from the Zambia News and Information Services, Milenge Management, thank you so much for your endless love, support and prayers
